Admission to MBBS Course (No. of Seats - 98)
Minimum Age Limit - Applicant should have been born on or before 01.01.1995
Educational Qualification - Passed 10+2 (Higher/Seniour Secondary) Examination with minimum 50% marks together in Physics,Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and a paas in English for UR and 45% for UR-OPH and SC/ST/OBC.
Entrance Examination - on 5th June 2011 (10.00 AM to 12.30 PM) in 12 centres.
Total Seats - 98 ( UR-33, OBC - 17, SC-10, ST-07, P-UR -17, P-OBC -09, P-SC -05)
Application Form -
Application-cum-Prospectus for MMBS course 2011 Session can be obtained by one of the following methods:
(I) From the counter of State bank of India (SBI), JIPMER Campus from 06.03.2011 to 25.04.2011 (4 PM)
(II) Postal Request to Professor Academic, JIPMER from 06.03.2011 to 18.04.2011 accompanied by a Demand Draft Rs. 1000 for UR/OBC and Rs. 650/- for SC/ST (should attach a copy of attested SC/ST certificate) drawn in the name of " Accounts Officer, JIPMER" payable at "Pondicherry".
Two labels with candidate's address written legibly must be enclosed.
(III) On-Line Submission through JIPMER website from 06.03.2011 to 18.04.2011.
However online applicats have to send the printouts with necessary enclosures so as to reach on or before 25.04.2011(4.30 PM).
