All India Entrance Examination for admission to VI and IX Standards of Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2012-2013 will be held on 08 Jan 2012 (Sunday).
Only boys aged between 10 and 11 years as on 01 July 2012 (i.e. whose date of birth is 02.07.2001 to 01.07.2002) for VI standard and boys aged between 13 and 14 years as on 01 Jul 2012 ( i.e. whose date of birth is 02.07.1998 to 01.07.1999) and studying in VIII std in a recognised school are eligible for admission to IX standard.
For prospectus and application forms, remit Rs.550/- for General / Defense categories and Rs.400/- for SC / ST categories inclusive of Registration Fee, cost of old question paper, Documentary DVD and postal charges through Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India, Amaravathinagar (Branch Code 2191) in favour of ‘Principal, Sainik School, Amaravathinagar’ along with covering letter mentioning postal address, clear indication of the standard to which admission is sought (VI / IX) and the category (SC / ST / Defense / General). Medium of examination should also be indicated for VI std.

Cost of the application as above to be deposited by DD along with completed form.
